CURRICULUM

In our curriculum, we combine all the areas of development for pre-school children.

Children spend half the day in the Arabic class, where the instruction medium is Arabic, and half the day in the English class where the instruction medium is English. Children accumulate a wide vocabulary and learn to express themselves with confidence and to comprehend and discuss stories. While Islamic culture is at the heart of My Nursery, we also teach respect of other cultures and religions.

Through sorting, matching and a lot of fun games, children make their first steps into numeracy. Children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and self – esteem, as well as respect for others.

Our daily arts and crafts activities promote their fine motor skills, their senses and creative abilities. We cover a large number of topics that give the children age-appropriate knowledge about their surroundings and the world in general.

We have a carefully selected stock of wonderful resources from around the world which have been acquired with our aims and children in mind. Our movement classes and daily play time activities are aimed at developing the physical side of our children’s education and their well being.
CLASSES
Our classes are designed to suit the specific age of the children within them. Each class has its own child sized toilets. Furniture, toys and books are all age-appropriate, fun and stimulating. We have one teacher and one teacher assistant per class, with floating nannies to help as needed. The maximum number of children per class is 18 to ensure personalised attention to each child.

  • My Nursery has been a second home for my kids for almost three years now, making me feel like I could leave my kids in complete peace of mind from day one with the most attentive, smiley and dedicated staff I have ever met. In the last 2 years, I have seen my son develop a strong and confident personality that has allowed him to settle with ease in his new school

  • What I really like about “My Nursery” is that they deal with our kids as a family; they care in developing our kid’s personality not only by teaching but also applying... The nursery really helped me in teaching my daughter the good habits in different areas. They also care a lot about working mothers. I trusted that my daughter’s Original Language (Arabic) will remain the same and this is what really happened

    Sara’s Mother

  • I would like to sincerely thank you for the great efforts you and the team of My Nursery are doing. Your team was professional in dealing with such young age by engaging them into very interesting and interactive activities. Both daughters were exposed to an effective learning experience especially the emphasis on Arabic language (Al Fusha) in addition to the other study
